Abstract
Effective management of innovation requires openness in multiple senses, including openness to ambiguity, openness to new ideas, and an open policy regarding the origin and destination of ideas for commercialization. This paper describes the use of an open innovation model, using an innovation hub, in the context of an ambidextrous organization.
