Abstract

Abstract : This report summarizes research studies of the oxidation behaviour of tantalum at 300-500 C (TN No. 3), X-ray diffraction and metallographic investigations of metallic oxide phases (suboxides) of tantalum and niobium, which are reaction products in the oxidation of these metals.
