Abstract

This research was conducted to determine performance of some durum wheat varieties in central location of Konya under dry and irrigated conditions in 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 growing seasons periods. Kızıltan-91, Kunduru-1149, Mirzabey-2000 and Altıntaş varieties were used in dry conditions. Meram-2002, Kümbet-2000, Yelken-2000, Ç-1252 and Selçuklu-97 varieties were used in irrigated conditions. The grain yield of varieties changed in the range of 240.80-364.42 kg/da, thousand grain weight changed in the range of 36.0838.00 g, protein ratio changed in the range of 15.79-16.54 %, micro SDS changed in the range of 6.25-7.12 ml, colour values changed in the range of (b) 17.65-20.29 in dry conditions. The grain yield of varieties changed in the range of 337.96-465.11 kg/da, thousand grain weight changed in the range of 33.45-40.14 g, protein ratio changed in the range of 16.16-17.05 %, micro SDS changed in the range of 5.37-6.97 ml, colour values changed in the range of (b) 16.94-20.04 in irrigated conditions
