Abstract
With the development of network and the rapid growth of data size, it is more and more important to share the data storage effectively. This paper analyses the storages of traditional DAS solution and NAS solution, and the advantage of SAN storage method, then designs a new shared network storage system based on SAN architecture. The new system is easy to manage and convenient to share, and overcomes the shortage of limited storage capacity of DAS and NAS. It also overcomes the influence of network bandwidth. We think it is a storage system with good foreground.
