Abstract

The Ibaraki Prefectural Police HQ plans to introduce a new traffic control (TC) system based on the National Police Agency's concept of Universal Traffic Management Systems (UTMS) by taking an opportunity of its movement to a new building in the spring of 1999. This paper describes the system design concept of the new TC system with emphasis on its new information system functions most characteristic of the new system and makes clear the effects of the system introduction.
