Abstract

The role of the veterinary nurse in educating clients about the importance of puppy socialisation is paramount. Veterinary practices should openly promote puppy clinics, puppy parties and socialisation groups. Nurses need to understand how puppies assimilate these learning processes in order to fully convey to owners why their puppies display certain behaviours.
