Abstract
The paper presents a theory for reuse of domain knowledge during requirements engineering. The theory includes a set of formal and reusable domain abstractions, a computational analogical reasoning mechanism for their retrieval and tool support to enable both effective requirements modeling and critiquing and guided fact capture prior to retrieval. It was developed as part of the ESPRIT 6353 'Nature' basic research action. The paper argues that the theory has implications for domain modeling as well as domain knowledge reuse during requirements engineering.>
