Abstract
The chemical composition of the essential oils from Albanian wild growing sage was examined by GC/MS. Over 40 compounds were detected in the oils, from which about 30 could be identified. The main components identified were α-thujone (12.2–49.3%), β-thujone (3.1–10.5%) camphor (13.7–37.8%) and 1,8-cineole (3.9–23-4%).
