Parameters describing the deviations from local thermodynamic equilibrium of the populations of excited levels of C II, C III, C IV and F II ions in isolated plasmas have been calculated. The values apply to plasmas with electron densities from 10 15 -10 20 cm -3 and electron temperatures from 0.5-20 eV. Means of extending the data to lower densities and non-isolated plasmas at higher temperatures as well as to other ions in the same isoelectronic sequences are also described.
