Abstract
In order to analyze the influence of radar systems electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) on radar range better, first of all, the radar receiving performance under interference from neighbouring radar is analyzed, then the radar range equation under interference is deduced. Finally, as the example of two radars which are eletromagnetic incompatibility on the same platform, the radar range is discussed based on above radar range equation. Simulation results indicate that increasing the range between radars, decreasing radar sidelobe gain and decreasing interference power can increase the radar range and achieve better radar EMC.
