Abstract

Research of people's subjective duration perception ability is an important part of the discovery of human auditory level. In this paper the subjective duration difference threshold was measured under different pitch and different loudness. The experimental results showed that the difference of duration was imperceptible at low loudness, and as the loudness increased, the difference of duration was more perceptible. The pitch also had a certain influence on the perception of duration, and it was different under different loudness. What's more, at intermediate frequency the loudness had greater impact on duration perception. While at intermediate loudness the frequency had greater impact on duration perception.
