Abstract
The title compound, {[Cd(C4H2N3S)2(H2O)2]·2H2O}n, forms a one-dimensional chain propagating along the a axis. The unique CdII atom lies on an inversion centre in a slightly distorted octahedral coordination environment. In the crystal structure, a three-dimensional network is formed via intermolecular O—H⋯O, O—H⋯N, N—H⋯O, N—H⋯N and O—H⋯S hydrogen bonds.
