Abstract
Abstract In a series of preliminary experiments it was shown that LIEMs can be substituted for solid membranes in the conventional electrodialysis process. A specific mass transfer was demonstrated, causing either an increase or a decrease in the concentration of aqueous salt solutions, depending on the experimental set‐up. The liquid membranes tested were shown to be ion‐permselective.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
