Abstract

Feedback control systems wherein the control loops are closed through a real-time network are called networked control systems. This type of system has many advantages of flexibility with respect to traditional control systems. The insertion of communication network in the feedback control loop makes the analysis and design of networked control systems complex. The tools and methods developed in conventional control theory are not enough for this analysis. In this paper, generalized predictive control is used the networked control system to deals with the communication time delays in the control loop. The stability analysis is introduced.
