Abstract
This paper presents the results of an experimental study to determine the effective prestress force in two full-scale prestressed concrete bridge beams that were removed from a bridge structure after a period of 28 years in service. An average prestress loss of 16% was determined for the two specimens. This loss value is approximately 60% of the loss predicted according to design specifications.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
