Abstract
The present study explores the publication trends of scholarly papers in the Indian Journal of Animal Research, published in India since 2007 to 2013. A total of 574 contributions and 2083 authors were considered in the journal. The study demonstrates and elaborates on the various aspects of the journal, such as its distribution of article by year, authorship patterns, distribution of contributions by authorship patterns by year and volume, author productivity, geographical distributions of authors, single and multi authored papers by year, most prolific contributors and degree of author collaboration.
