Abstract
The blood cholesterol concentration of chicks fed a cholesterol-supplemented diet decreased significantly (P < 0.05) when scallop sterols were added to the diet. There was no significant change in plasma Δ5-sterol when scallop sterols were incorporated into the basal diet.
