Abstract
The paper summarizes two projects in the framework of the German Mobile Telecommunication Research Program. In the projects, measurement and calculation methods for determination of the general public exposure around GSM and UMTS base stations were developed and applied to a comprehensive analysis of the field distribution in different base station scenarios.
