The wood structure of Pinus radiata trees grown under conditions of elevated atmospheric CO2 was investigated. Tracheid length, tangential and radial lumen diameter, and .tangen tial wall thickness were measured for trees grown at 320 ± 20 ppm CO2 and 640 ± ppm CO2.
