Abstract

Abstract The effects of phosphorus, potassium, and calcium on ‘Virginia’ runner peanuts grown in Nuata clay loam were examined in a 2 × 2 × 2 factorial experiment. Phosphorus and calcium together gave large increases in peanut yields; either element applied separately was relatively ineffective. Potassium depressed yield when applied in association with phosphorus and calcium.
