Abstract

In this paper, voice activity detection (VAD) algorithms and the development are introduced firstly, and then the analysis and comparison of the dominating VAD algorithms are proposed. Finally, the development characteristics of VAD are summarized. The simulation result shows that VAD of double threshold method is efficient on-line.
