Abstract
The virtual physical scene which based on the virtual reality technology is one of the important application directions of the virtual reality technology. This design realizes the 3D virtual scene on part of the campus and real-time roaming by VRML. This paper mainly introduces the building of landscape model and the approach of the scene roaming realization. Using the Photoshop for the beautification; and the three-dimensional scene is imported into VRMLPAD, and then inserting the point of view, setting the light; after that program is optimized and so on. Finally, the virtual campus scene is browsed by IE. It presents as three-dimensional model in front of the users and generates an immersive feeling for the browser.
