Grey theory and its application on evaluating two-oriented society in Henan Province

Abstract

This article established an index system for evaluating two-oriented society on a provincial scale from four dimensions including economic development level, resource utilization, environmental protection, technology support and regional charm. Meanwhile, it also conducted an empirical study on Henan Province from Year 2006 to Year 2008 based on grey theory, which shows that the two-oriented society construction in Henan Province presents a good development tendency both in subindices and comprehensive index.
