Abstract
A strategy on quadrilateral meshes partition and optimization based on cloud data is proposed in the paper. Quadrangular meshes are partite by means of dynamic edges extending according to the types of the nodes. The strategies are set forth on detecting collisions, optimization processing, edges processing, the second optimization. The new algorithm improves the quality of meshes and increases the efficiency of the algorithm running. The idea and characteristics of the strategy are introduced in detail, and examples are presented to illustrate the ability of the strategy.
