Abstract

Abstract The self-organization of polyfunctional molecules, leading to specific molecular assemblies, is often determined by the molecular symmetry/asymmetry of constitution. By using structurally isomeric pyronedicarboxylic acids, the molecular symmetry/asymmetry was revealed to discriminate the structure and the thermodynamic stability of self-organized architecture.
