Abstract

Short reports DRM provides an easy and rapid method for detecting hypoglycaemia in the newborn.How- ever, before the DRM is used routinely in the newborn nursery the instrument should be calibrated adequately using blood of known glucose concentrations.We wish to thank Miss Elsa Sidler for skilful tech- nical assistance.REFERENCES Chantler, C., Baum, J.
