Abstract

This paper reports on recent advances on integrated hybrid InP/SOI lasers and transmitters. We demonstrate a hybrid III-V/Si laser achieving a tuning range of 45 nm, and a high performance tunable transmitter incorporating a silicon Mach-Zehnder modulator.
