The value of fine needle aspiration biopsy and intravenous pyelography in the diagnosis of renal masses

Abstract
On the basis of an analysis in 118 patients with space occupying lesions in the kidney demonstrated on the pyelogram it is conluded, that the combination of intravenous pyelography and fine needle aspiration biopsy is a safe diagnostic procedure, and it could be a valuable supplement to angiography and explorative incision. Zusammenfassung 118 Patienten mit Vergrößerung der Nieren im intravenösen Pyelogramm werden analysiert. Die Kombination der Pyelographie mit Probepunktion mit einer dünnen Nadel ist ungefährlich und kann eine wertvolle Ergänzung zur Angiographie und Probefreilegung darstellen.
