Abstract

The paper deals with the intensification of the international standardization of induction motors within the framework of the IEC. The revision of the mounting dimensions and output ratings of electrical rotating machines makes it possible for manufacturers and users to consider the results of standardization endeavors achieved up to the present. The aims of international standardization in the near future are given.
