Abstract
Supervised classification, visual modification and decision tree classification method was used in the research on grassland desertification in Shenzha county. The classification results were obtained through the 1990s and the 2000 TM/ETM remote sensing image, and the author carried out overlay analysis, extracted change information. The research shows that ShenZha county grassland desertification has overall expanding tendency, and serious desertification area increased considerably, mild and moderate desertification area somewhat reduced, grassland area decreased, and in the end, the author analyzed why the results were produced‥
