Abstract
An expression for the fission width of actinide nuclei is obtained, using a model in which vibrations in the fission degree of freedom are considered to be doorway states for fission. The coupling of these states to compound states in both potential wells is considered explicitly. Comparisons to other models for the calculations of the fission widths are made.NUCLEAR REACTIONS, FISSION Calculate $f$ probability ${P}_{f}({E}_{x})$ for ($d, \mathrm{pf}$) reaction.
