Abstract
Abstract From the difference between the optical rotatory dispersion of pelletierine in acid and in alkaline aqueous solution the absolute configuration was deduced by comparison with 2‐methylpiperidine. It confirms our absolute‐configuration determination by another method. The conclusion contradicts that of a recent publication.
