Glenoid labrum tears in nondislocated shoulders

This study describes the existence of glenoid labrum tears in 8 patients without a history of dislocation, but with distortion or blunt trauma of the shoulder. The clinical relevance of the findings in each case is described through presentation of symptoms, arthroscopic findings, treatment and end results. The value of arthroscopy in shoulder diagnosis is emphasized.
