Safety Management System in Civil Aviation: Our Perspective

Abstract

Safety Management System (SMS) is currently being advocated by civil aviation community, and has been introduced in China in the last few years. This paper covers perception of SMS, discusses some fundamental issues concerned. It tries to present a clear view of SMS, furthermore, hopefully leads to a better understanding and implementation.
