The Brownings' correspondence

A collection of the correspondence of the two major Victorian poets and literary figures - Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. This volume provides an insight into their exchange of literary ideas, intimacy and avowals of love. Their correspondence is accompanied by full biographical, literary and historical notes and documentation. This complete edition will feature approximately 40 volumes, totalling 12,000 letters and spanning more than 80 years of the 19th century.
