Abstract
A new phenolic glycoside, clemaparviloside A ( 1 ) together with three known megastigmane glycosides, linarionoside A ( 2 ), linarionoside C ( 3 ) and staphylionoside K ( 4 ) were isolated from the stems of Clematis parviloba [1,2]. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence. The megastigmane glycoside compounds are reported for the first time to be obtained from Clematis genus.
