Abstract

By detecting total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), total organic matter in the sediment of Liangtan River in different water periods, analyze the characteristics of sediment pollutant, and evaluate the level of sediment pollution in Liangtan River. Moreover, analyze the source-sink relationship between sediment and overlying water according to the pore-water is expounded in detail. The results show that the range of the sediment organic matter, total nitrogen and total phosphorus in the study area of Liangtan River was 11.72 ∼ 84.74 mg/g, 4.66 ∼ 9.38 mg/g, 0.60 ∼ 5.70 mg/g, respectively, mean 46.82 mg/g, 6.85 mg/g, 2.03 mg/g; sediment pollution is more serious. Through analysis and comparison of levels of pollutants, we can see sediment of Liangtan River is the main internal sources of pollution.
