Abstract
The real aim of industrial design is to create the real quality of product, namely the optimization of product’s structure, function and principle, and to make products enhance their own value in the market through this relationship. In order to adapt to the product design in electronic age, we propose the “people-oriented” design concept, so as to achieve coordinating the optimization of products through “human” factors, and creating the real quality of product. This study focuses on the application direction of the “people-oriented” design concept and how this concept is used in the electronic product design. In the paper, I mainly enterprises in the design and production of the “baby monitor” products, as discussed in the example illustrates.
