Abstract

Abstract Pr(OH)3 nanorods with 12–30 nm in diameter and 30–300 nm in length were prepared by a hydrothermal process. The as-synthesized product was characterized by XRD, TEM, and TG-DTA. The results showed that the nanorods are highly crystallized hexagonal structure and stable in the low temperature. The mechanism for the hydrothermal synthesis of Pr(OH)3 nanorods was discussed.
