Abstract
In this technical note, a spline finite strip for curved bottom flange of box-girder bridges is developed so that the spline finite strip method is extended to the analysis of continuous haunched box-girder bridges. This method is more capable in dealing with concentrated loads and is more flexible in treating discrete support conditions than the semi-analytical finite strip method.
