Abstract

Abstract Potassium cyanide /conc. 5 mM/ inhibits the formation of pinocytotic channels in Amoeba Proteus . Cells lacking the nucleus or treated with Actinomycin D acquire resistance to KCN. The result suggests that pinocytosis is a nuclear-controlled process.
