Abstract

Infrared photometry of the central portion of the Crab nebula is presented. These data support a spectral index from the visible through the near infrared of -0.46. A 2.2-micron image of the Crab nebula is also presented. There are no anomalies when the 2.2-micron data are compared to the visible data.
