Abstract

Numerical simulation of inviscid flow over three hypersonic aircrafts of different idealized configurations with flow through the contoured duct of the air-jet engine has been performed at M∞ = 6 and α = 0−10°. The Influence of the front jaws of the air intake on the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft with a blunt wedged fuselage has been considered. The effect of different elements of the hypersonic aircraft on the aerodynamic characteristics has been estimated. Numerical data have been supplemented with the results of the experiments carried out in the wind tunnel at TsAGI.
