Abstract

Rode Ranch pegmatite, reported in 1963, is 23 miles from Baringer Hill and mineralogically similar. The following minerals have been identified to date: quartz, albite, microcline, biotite, allanite, fergusonite, gadolinite, cyrtolite, bastnaesite, thorogummite, nontronite, sericite, magnetite, hematite, pyrite, garnet, beta beryllium hydroxide, and hyaline opal.
