Abstract
A double-layer scintillator detector has been designed for the detection of beta particles with a minimal response to gamma radiation, for use in thickness measurements. Measurements indicate that the use of the new detector in a 90Sr beta -particle thickness gauge allows the limit of measurable thickness to be raised by approximately 25% over the corresponding thickness using the conventional discriminator method.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
