Abstract

In this paper, a new predistortion linearizer with controlling individual order intermodulation distortion (IMD) signals is proposed. This linearizer is achieved independent control of third- and fifth-order intermodulation products using amplitude modulation with even harmonic signals. A vector modulator, modulate fundamental signal with even harmonic components generated by harmonic generator circuits, generates the predistortion third- and fifth-order intermodulation signals and controls amplitude and phase of them with each other modulation factors. As a result, this linearizer is suppressed third- and fifth-order IMD signals of power amplifier effectively
