Abstract

To solve the problem of IPv4 address space, NAT-PT (network address translation + protocol translation) appeared. There are three types of NAT: static NAT dynamic NAT, Network Address Port Translation NAPT (Port-Level NAT). This paper describes the three types of IPv4 and IPv6 interworking implementation methods and some problems being existed.
