From the Experiment to an Integral System

Abstract
The need for an integrated approach to the improvement of the economic mechanism derives from the high degree of interaction between all links and levels of the modern economic mechanism, which makes changes in one element without the restructuring of the entire system inconceivable. As the experience of the 1965 economic reform shows, it was this that determined the insufficient effectiveness of the implementation of individual decisions on the improvement of the economic mechanism. The existence of common national economic preconditions for its functioning, without which, or with the insufficiency of which, it will be merely "idling," is important for the realization of the entire formulated system.
