Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the status of N.A.S.A’s efforts to define the scope of a space station programme. It presents N.A.S.A’s rationale for a space station, architectural, technological and operational concepts that would enhance its capabilities, status of planning, how it would be used, opportunities for commercialization, and the potential for international participation in the programme.
