Abstract
A case of the coexistence of an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and an arterial aneurysm in the same patient is presented. Total excision of the AVM alone resulted in the disappearance of the aneurysm, as documented by postoperative angiography. (Neurosurgery 8:219-222, 1981)
